Where it started
In 2018, Siddharth Chandra was a college student in Delhi with a simple problem — getting around the city was expensive, slow, and unreliable. Cabs were unaffordable for daily use. Auto-rickshaws were unpredictable. Public transport didn't reach everywhere.
So he did what most people only think about. He started renting out Honda Activa 5Gs to fellow college students — affordable, practical, and available when they needed them.
That was GoBikes. A one-person operation, a handful of scooters, and a campus full of students who needed a better way to get around.
How we grew
What started on a college campus in Delhi grew city by city, vehicle by vehicle.
Students became working professionals. Working professionals told their friends. Cities outside Delhi started asking for the same thing. Dealers who had idle vehicles found a new income stream by partnering with us.
By 2025, GoBikes had grown into something bigger than two-wheelers. We added car rentals, expanded to 50+ cities, and rebranded to GoWheelo — a name that reflects where we are headed.

We have not just built a rental platform. We have given hundreds of vehicle owners and dealers a reliable source of income by connecting their idle fleet to people who need it every day.
