What documents are required to rent a bike in Bangalore?

To rent a bike or scooty in Bangalore, you must submit your original Driving License at pickup (returned at drop-off) along with soft copies of your Aadhar card and local address proof. Learner’s licenses are not accepted. If you prefer not to submit your physical Driving License, you can instead pay a fully refundable ₹5,000 security deposit.

Can I take a rented bike from Bangalore to Nandi Hills or Mysore?

Yes, you can take our rental bikes for a scenic trip to Nandi Hills! However, outstation travel to farther destinations like Mysore or Coorg is not permitted. Our vehicles are strictly meant for Bangalore city limits and nearby outskirts only, so please plan your ride accordingly and return the bike to your designated hub on time.

Does the rental price include fuel?

No, our rental prices do not include fuel. We provide just enough fuel to reach the nearest petrol pump. We follow a straightforward "Like-to-Like" policy, meaning you must return the vehicle with the exact same amount of fuel it had at the time of pickup to avoid any additional refueling charges.

Are helmets mandatory for both rider and pillion in Bangalore?

Yes, helmets are strictly mandatory for both the rider and pillion under Bangalore traffic laws. GoWheelo provides one complimentary ISI-marked helmet with every bike rental. If you have a passenger, you can easily rent a second helmet from our hub for a nominal fee to ensure a safe ride and avoid heavy police fines.

What are the charges for late returns?

We provide a standard 30-minute grace period for returning your vehicle. Beyond that, late fees are calculated on an hourly basis. To avoid penalty charges, we highly recommend extending your booking through the GoWheelo website or app at least a few hours before your original ride ends.

Can I pick up the bike near Bangalore Airport or Railway Station?

While we don't have hubs directly at the airport or railway stations, GoWheelo operates multiple convenient pickup points across prime Bangalore neighborhoods.
