Booking, Locations & How-To

Renting a two-wheeler with GoWheelo is completely digital and seamless. Go to our homepage, select "Bangalore" as your city, enter your preferred pickup date and time, and choose from our wide fleet of scooters and motorcycles. Complete your payment online, upload your driving license for instant verification, and head to the selected local hub to pick up your ride.

To reserve a scooter online, browse our GoWheelo platform, select an automatic scooter like a Honda Activa or Suzuki Access, and choose your kilometer package. Once you confirm the booking with a small online payment, your booking ID is generated instantly, securing your vehicle against weekend surges.

GoWheelo has an extensive network of rental partner hubs spread across Bangalore. You can rent a bike directly at major transit points like Krishnarajapuram (KR Puram), Yesvantpur, and near the KSR Bengaluru Majestic Railway Station, as well as tech and residential areas like Whitefield, HSR Layout, and Marathahalli.

The highest concentration of GoWheelo pickup points is located around major student and IT hubs. You will find the maximum density of vehicle options in Koramangala, Indiranagar, BTM Layout, Vijayangar, and Electronic City, allowing you to find a rental bike within a 3km radius of your location.

Simply choose a 24-hour window on our platform's date picker. Daily rentals start from the exact hour you pick up the vehicle and must be returned at the same hour the following day. It is the perfect budget option for running local errands or navigating office commutes.

Don't worry—we’ve got your back. In case of a mechanical breakdown within Bangalore city limits, simply contact our dedicated GoWheelo 24/7 Roadside Assistance hotline. Our local support team will coordinate with the nearest authorized service hub to fix the issue or arrange an immediate vehicle replacement so your journey isn't disrupted. Please note: Fixes for basic tire punctures or running out of fuel must be managed directly by the rider.

Pricing, Deposits & Packages

Daily rental rates in Bangalore vary by model. Standard gearless scooters (like the Honda Activa) start as low as ₹350 to ₹450 per day. Commuter motorcycles average around ₹500 to ₹700 per day, while premium cruiser bikes vary depending on your choice of model and weekend demand.

GoWheelo offers flexible, customized distance packages to suit your travel needs. You can choose from a Basic Package (e.g., 120 km/day) for short city commutes, an Explorer Package (e.g., 250 km/day) for longer travel, or custom upfront packages. Kilometers driven beyond your selected package will attract a standard flat excess fee per kilometer.

A standard geared commuter bike like a Yamaha FZ or Honda Unicorn typically costs between ₹550 and ₹800 per day on weekdays. For high-end geared motorcycles like a Royal Enfield Classic 350 or KTM Duke, rates range from ₹1,000 to ₹1,500 per day.

No, to ensure maximum vehicle reliability and maintenance standards for our riders, GoWheelo operates on a minimum 24-hour rental daily block system. This gives you full day flexibility without the stress of rigid, tight hourly return deadlines.

To keep your travel highly affordable, GoWheelo features ultra-low security deposits in Bangalore. Standard gearless scooters and commuter bikes carry a fully refundable security deposit starting at just ₹1,000, which is processed digitally at pickup and refunded directly to your account upon a safe, damage-free return.

Long-term or monthly bike rentals are highly discounted on GoWheelo. Standard terms require an upfront monthly payment, compliance with timely monthly odometer readings for routine servicing, and a commitment to keeping the vehicle within state boundaries unless specified otherwise.

GoWheelo offers transparent, zero-to-minimal security deposit options based on your selected vehicle category. In the unfortunate event of an accident or physical damage during your trip, the rider is responsible for a standardized damage cap fee or repair costs up to the insurance claim threshold. Pre-existing scratches and regular mechanical wear-and-tear are fully noted at handover and never charged to you.

Vehicle Types & Fleet Options

Our Bangalore fleet includes a diverse range of two-wheelers. You can rent Gearless Scooters (Honda Activa, TVS Ntorq), Street Commuters (Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ), Cruisers & Tourers (Royal Enfield Classic 350, Himalayan), and Sports Bikes (KTM RC, Yamaha R15) depending on your riding preference.

Yes, GoWheelo partner networks offer modern electric scooters (like Ather or Ola) in select Bangalore hubs. These are perfect for eco-conscious riders looking to beat city traffic along the Outer Ring Road or Silk Board while completely skipping high petrol costs.

For long-distance weekend rides, we highly recommend heavy-duty, stable tourers like the Royal Enfield Himalayan, Classic 350, or Bajaj Avenger. These motorcycles provide upright riding ergonomics and excellent suspension systems to tackle highway terrains smoothly.

Planning a weekend escape? You can easily book a bike for popular getaway routes from Bangalore to destinations like Nandi Hills, Mysore, Coorg, or Chikmagalur. Just select an extended multi-day booking window and choose a high-kilometer package at checkout for a stress-free trip.

Absolutely. Your safety is our absolute priority. Every GoWheelo rental comes with one complimentary, high-quality, ISI-marked safety helmet. If you are riding with a companion, a second pillion helmet can easily be added to your order for a minimal daily fee at the pickup location. Remember, wearing helmets for both the rider and pillion is strictly mandatory under Karnataka traffic regulations.

Rules, Documents & Insurance

To collect your vehicle, you must produce your original, permanent Indian Driving License (DL) valid for motorcycles with gear (or without gear for scooters). You must also present a secondary government ID proof, such as an Aadhaar Card or Passport. Note that some local partner hubs may securely hold one original physical ID for the duration of the rental.

To rent a standard gearless scooter or commuter bike up to 150cc, the rider must be at least 18 years old with a valid permanent DL. For high-capacity premium motorcycles (above 200cc like Royal Enfield or KTM), certain premium partner hubs require the rider to be at least 21 years old.

All rental two-wheelers listed on the GoWheelo platform are legally compliant and come equipped with standard Third-Party Vehicle Insurance as mandated by the Motor Vehicles Act. Any personal body or comprehensive vehicle damage options can be reviewed based on specific partner policies at the time of physical handover.

Yes, digital verification via official government apps like DigiLocker or mParivahan is completely valid and accepted at our pick-up counters. However, ensuring the digital copy reflects your full name, clear photograph, and active validity is highly recommended to guarantee a seamless, paperless check-in process.

For all gearless scooters (like Honda Activa or TVS Jupiter) and standard commuter commuter bikes, the minimum age requirement is 18 years with a valid DL. For high-capacity touring models or premium cruiser motorcycles (such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan or Classic 350), riders must be at least 21 years old.

We offer flexible cancellation terms built around your convenience. If you cancel your reservation well in advance of your scheduled pick-up time, you are eligible for a full or partial refund processed straight back to your original payment method. Detailed hour-based refund tiers are explicitly shown right on the booking checkout window before you confirm payment.

Advanced Booking & Logistics

Yes. While using the GoWheelo smartphone app offers the fastest interface, you can completely book your ride without one. Our platform is fully optimized for web browsers, allowing you to browse the live fleet, submit your KYC documents, and complete your online transaction via a laptop or mobile website. Alternatively, you can walk straight into any of our physical dealer hubs across Bangalore to rent a vehicle on the spot, subject to real-time fleet availability.

Absolutely. If you are hiring a cruiser or touring motorcycle for an outstation trip (like riding to Nandi Hills, Coorg, or Wayanad), you are fully authorized to exit Bangalore city limits. All our interstate touring models come equipped with valid commercial permits. Pro-tip: Just ensure you select an appropriate unlimited kilometer pack or daily data limit framework at checkout to keep your outstation journey highly cost-effective.

Yes, this is an incredibly common route for local tech commuters. Namma Metro authorities fully permit commuters to carry two-wheeler safety helmets through security scanners and onto the transit trains. This makes it seamless to ride the metro line to major transit hubs like Indiranagar or Silk Board and collect your parked GoWheelo ride immediately upon exit.

For standard weekday commutes, booking 24 hours in advance is perfectly fine. However, if you are planning a weekend road trip and require a specific high-demand model—like a Royal Enfield Classic 350 or an Automatic Car—we strongly recommend booking at least 3 to 4 days in advance. Fleet demand spikes significantly on Friday afternoons across hubs like HSR Layout, Koramangala, and Bellandur.

If you need to return your vehicle early, simply open your active booking tab on the platform and select "End Trip" or coordinate directly with your designated drop-off location manager. While early returns are always welcomed to secure the asset, refund terms for unused hours are calculated strictly based on the flexible tariff guidelines outlined during your checkout phase.

Payments & Group Bookings

No, we strictly maintain a 100% transparent pricing policy. The price you see on the checkout screen is exactly what you pay. All routine mechanical maintenance, normal tire wear-and-tear, and periodic servicing costs are completely covered by us. What isn't covered: Toll charges, parking fees, traffic violation fines incurred during your trip, and fuel. We operate on a fair "Empty-to-Empty" or "Like-to-Like" fuel policy, meaning you simply return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had at the time of pickup.

Yes, GoWheelo seamlessly accommodates group travel and corporate outings. You can book multiple two-wheelers under a single corporate account or primary user profile. During the pickup process, however, every individual rider must present their own original, valid Driving License to complete our digital security verification. This ensures everyone in your group is fully compliant with local traffic laws before heading out.

To ensure instant booking confirmation and completely secure your vehicle, we process transactions through our digital payment gateway. We accept a wide variety of flexible payment options, including: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), All major Debit and Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), & Net Banking & Digital Wallets. Please note: To maintain complete transparency and clean transaction digital trails, we strongly discourage cash payments at our physical pickup hubs.
