What documents are required for a self-drive car rental in Delhi?

To rent a self-drive car with GoWheelo in Delhi, you must hold a valid Driving License (Learner’s licenses are not accepted). At pickup, you must submit any one original government ID (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, or physical DL). This original ID is securely held at our hub and returned immediately upon drop-off.

Can I take the rental car from Delhi to Noida, Gurugram, or Jaipur?

Yes, our self-drive cars are permitted for travel across Delhi NCR (Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad) and outstation trips to nearby states. However, please note that State Entry Taxes for crossing into Haryana, UP, or Rajasthan are not included in the rental price and must be paid by the renter at the respective borders.

How does GoWheelo handle parking charges during Delhi's GRAP pollution alerts?

As per 2026 Delhi government regulations, parking charges at MCD and NDMC sites double whenever GRAP Stage III or IV is active. These increased parking fees are the responsibility of the renter. To save on costs during these periods, we recommend using DMRC (Metro) parking lots, which are currently exempt from this price hike.

How long does it take to get the car security deposit refunded?
