What documents are required to rent a scooty in Goa?

To rent a scooty or bike in Goa, you must hold a valid Driving License (Learner's not accepted). At pickup, simply submit any one original government ID (Aadhar, Voter ID, or physical DL). This ID is safely held and returned immediately at drop-off, meaning you are not forced to surrender your original Driving License!

Is there a daily kilometer limit for bike rentals in Goa?

Can I rent a scooty at Mopa Airport, Dabolim, or Madgaon Railway Station?

While two-wheeler rentals are strictly not permitted at Mopa Airport, GoWheelo offers highly convenient pickups near Dabolim Airport! You can also easily pick up your rental bike from our major hubs at Vasco Da Gama and Madgaon Railway Stations, the KTC Bus Stands in Panaji and Madgaon, plus prime tourist areas like Calangute and Candolim.

How long does it take to get the security deposit refunded in Goa?

Do you provide legal commercial bikes or private white-plate scooters?

We only provide legal "Rent-a-Motorcycle" commercial vehicles with black plates and yellow lettering. Renting private white-plate scooters in Goa is illegal for tourists and will lead to severe police harassment, heavy fines, and vehicle confiscation. Can I ride my rented scooty on Goa's beaches?

Absolutely not. Riding any two-wheeler on the beaches in Goa is strictly illegal, dangerous, and heavily penalized by the local police. Any towing charges, damages from sand or saltwater, and police fines incurred from beach riding will be the absolute responsibility of the renter.

Can I take the rental bike outside Goa to Gokarna or Malvan?

Our rental scooters and motorcycles are strictly permitted for use within Goa state boundaries only. Crossing state borders into Maharashtra or Karnataka is prohibited, as our commercial rental vehicles require special inter-state permits and border taxes that are not included in your booking.

Is fuel included in the Goa bike rental price?

No, our highly competitive rental rates are exclusive of fuel. We provide just enough fuel to comfortably reach the nearest petrol pump. We follow a simple "Like-to-Like" policy: simply return the scooter with the exact same fuel gauge level you received at pickup to avoid extra refueling charges.

What happens if I get stuck in Goa traffic and return the bike late?

We offer a standard 30-minute grace period for returning your two-wheeler. Beyond that, late fees apply on an hourly basis. Since traffic towards the airports, Panjim, or bridge crossings can be heavy, we highly recommend extending your booking through the GoWheelo app beforehand to avoid penalties.
