What documents are required for a self-drive car rental in Noida?
To rent a car with GoWheelo in Noida, you must hold a valid Driving License (LMV). At the time of pickup, you are required to submit your original physical Driving License. Additionally, you must provide one other original government ID (Aadhar Card or Voter ID), which is securely held at our hub and returned immediately upon the safe return of the car.
Are self-drive cars allowed on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway?
Yes! Our self-drive cars are fully permitted on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway. However, please adhere strictly to the 2026 speed limits (typically 100 kmph for light vehicles). During the winter fog season (Dec–Feb), the Noida Traffic Police often reduce these limits to 75 kmph; always follow the digital signboards to avoid automated camera challans.
How long does it take to get the car security deposit refunded?
GoWheelo guarantees a transparent and fast refund process. After you drop off the car at our Noida hub, our team performs a quick inspection for damages and checks for any new e-challans on the UP Traffic Police portal. Once verified, your fully refundable security deposit is processed and returned to your account within 24 to 48 hours.
Can I drive a rental car from Noida to the new Jewar Airport?
Absolutely! With the inauguration of the Noida International Airport at Jewar in 2026, our self-drive cars are the most convenient way to reach the terminal. Our fleet is updated with the latest FASTags to ensure smooth transit through the Jewar Toll. Always check for local traffic diversions during VVIP movements on the Yamuna Expressway.
Does the car rental price include fuel?
No, our competitive Noida car rental rates are exclusive of fuel. We follow a "Like-to-Like" policy: we provide the car with a specific fuel gauge level, and you return it with the exact same level. This gives you the freedom to refuel at any of the major petrol pumps in Sector 18, Sector 62, or Greater Noida.
Can I take the rental car from Noida to Delhi, Gurgaon, or Agra?
Yes! Our self-drive cars are perfect for commuting across the Delhi NCR region or for weekend trips to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. While you can drive freely across borders, please note that for entering Delhi or Haryana, any State Entry Taxes or border fees are the responsibility of the renter.
Is there a daily kilometer limit for car rentals in Noida?
No, we do not restrict you with rigid daily caps! You receive a total kilometer allowance based on your overall rental package, which you can use flexibly over your entire booking. This is perfect for a mix of local commuting between Noida Sectors 126 and 63 followed by a long-distance trip. We also offer unlimited kilometer options on select models.
What happens if I return the car late due to traffic at the DND Flyway?
We understand that traffic at the DND Flyway, Kalindi Kunj, or Sector 37 can be unpredictable. We provide a 30-minute grace period for all returns. Beyond that, late fees are charged on an hourly basis. To avoid penalties, we recommend extending your booking via the GoWheelo app at least two hours in advance.
Where are the GoWheelo car rental hubs located in Noida?
Our pickup hubs are strategically located near major Metro stations and corporate zones for easy access. You can pick up your self-drive car near Noida Sector 18 (Blue Line), Botanical Garden (Interchange), Noida Sector 62, Sector 135 (IT Hub), and Greater Noida (Pari Chowk).
